These terms cover your use of the RECEIPT website, the inbox setup and the rewards paid in Stock Tokens. By creating an account, you accept them.

They are written in plain words on purpose. If a line is unclear, ask us before you forward a receipt.

1. What RECEIPT does

You forward receipts from brands in our registry. We verify each one and turn it into points. Every night at 00:00 UTC, the day's pool is converted into Stock Tokens of the brands on those receipts and shared in proportion to points.

2. Who can use it

  • You are old enough to sign a binding contract where you live

  • You are not a U.S. person, or a resident of Canada, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the UAE or a sanctioned country

  • You declare your country truthfully and keep it up to date

  • You hold one account, and only one

People in a restricted country can follow the product in a watch-only mode, without rewards.

3. Your account and wallet

  • You can confirm several email addresses; each one belongs to a single account

  • You are responsible for the wallet that receives payouts, and for its keys

  • Payouts sent to a wrong or lost wallet can't be reversed

4. Receipts that count

  • DKIM-signed by a sender in our brand registry

  • Addressed to an email you confirmed with us

  • No more than 7 days old when it reaches us

  • Up to 10 receipts per account per day

  • Up to $200 counted per receipt

  • One claim per order, worldwide

NOT ELIGIBLE: GIFT CARDS, PREPAID RELOADS, CRYPTO PURCHASES, DONATIONS AND ZERO-AMOUNT RECEIPTS.

5. The daily pool and the rate

The pool is funded by fees from $RECEIPT trading. The day's rate is the pool divided by the day's eligible spend, capped at 5%. It changes every day and can be zero. We only share out what came in, so no amount is ever guaranteed.

6. Vesting, unlock and payday

  • Rewards vest for 30 days from the receipt date

  • To unlock vested rewards, your wallet holds the Member threshold of $RECEIPT at payout time; the threshold is set at launch

  • Unlocked rewards are sent every Friday, and the vault pays the gas

  • A refund or a cancellation removes the matching rewards that haven't vested

7. Stock Tokens

Stock Tokens are issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited, not by us. Each one follows the price of a listed company's stock and gives price exposure only, with no other rights in that company. Their value moves up and down, and the issuer's own terms apply to them.

Company names and tickers are shown for information. RECEIPT is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by those companies or by Robinhood.

8. $RECEIPT

$RECEIPT is a token traded on Robinhood Chain. Holding it unlocks rewards and tiers. It is not an investment product, and we make no promise about its price, its liquidity or its future.

9. Fair play

  • Don't forge, edit or replay receipts

  • Don't forward receipts that belong to someone else

  • Don't buy only to refund, or only to farm rewards

  • Don't run several accounts or automate sign-ups

When we see abuse, we may hold rewards for review, cancel points or close the account. You can write to us to challenge a decision.

10. No financial advice

Nothing on RECEIPT is investment, tax or legal advice. Any tax due on the rewards you receive is yours to handle.

CRYPTO ASSETS ARE RISKY. USE RECEIPT ONLY IF YOU ACCEPT THAT REWARDS CAN LOSE VALUE.

11. Changes to the service

We may add or remove brands, change multipliers, run events, or pause the service to protect users, for example if a pool, a price feed or a contract fails. Rule changes appear on this page first.

12. Liability

RECEIPT is a young product and is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, for price moves of Stock Tokens or $RECEIPT, or for outages of the chain, your email provider or other third-party services. Nothing here limits the rights you have as a consumer.

13. Closing your account

You can close your account at any time. How rewards that are still vesting or locked are handled will be set out here before launch.

14. Law and contact

These terms are meant to follow French law, without removing the protections of the country where you live. The governing law and courts will be confirmed with counsel before launch.
